In yet another shocking incident, a 20-year-old woman who hailed from Russia has been allegedly raped by branch manager of a nationalised bank in Mathura. Based on a complaint, filed by the woman, the accused has been arrested. According to the FIR filed by woman, the duo came into contact on November, 2016 through Facebook. They had frequent conversations afterwards.
On his advice, she came to India on September 17 and stayed in Vrindavan. The victim alleged that on September 22, the bank manager took him to a house and raped her. The woman in her complaint also alleged that the banker “threatened her with dire consequences” if she disclosed his act to anyone.
Talking to news agency PTI, Deputy Superintendent of Police Vijay Shanker Mishra said, “The manager of the nationalised Bank has been taken into custody after the victim lodged a complaint against him. The woman has been sent for medical examination.”
Speaking to ANI, the victim said, “He raped me and was in a relationship with several other women. I met him in Vrindavan.”

However, the accused has refuted all the allegations levelled on him and said, “There was no contact between us for a year. She was asking me for money. When I refused, she filed this case against me.”
