A feeling that you cannot trade for anything in the world – seeing your loved one after a long time being apart. Be it time or distance, you just couldn’t explain the over flowing emotion.
Military men and women everywhere leave their families to serve their country and only God knows when they will return or if ever they will come back at all.
So when that moment arrives to reunite with their families, expect everyone to be emotional and know that you will cry, too.
Air Force Technical Sergeant Lance Daigle planned to surprise his family in a baseball game where his family will be watching.
Daigle had a little help from the Carolina Mudcats organization where he donned a catcher’s uniform to catch the ceremonial opening pitch.
On the pitcher’s mound will be his two children, Cameron, 11 and Karley, 13. The siblings walked onto the mound thinking that they won the right to pitch from a VIP experience raffle. Little did they know that when they throw the pitch, they will be in for a surprise and a big one at that.
The surprise reunion was so emotional that inside the stadium it was “hard to see a dry eye,” according to a Mudcats spokeswoman.
