A netizen has posted a rant criticizing students who study in coffee shops claiming that they belong in the library or at internet shops. The almost 200 word long post was made on Zach Salazar’s account some time in the evening. The post itself was brought to netizens’ attention as two screenshots (from a mobile device) posted onto Patricia Isabel Camarista’s Facebook page.
Here’s the ranting Post:
Netizens have reacted to his post and are generally opposed to his position citing that students aren’t showing off and have every right to be there. Coffee shops or cafes are known hangouts for students for the free wifi and air conditioning.
Here are what some Netizens have said:
Oliver Listano: So what SHOULD you do in a coffee shop? I’d like to see him bash businessmen who stay for hours discussing. Or networkers overstaying so they could find more clients to persuade. The guy needs to learn to mind his own wormhole and above all, needs to understand he is not in the position to decide which is which, what goes where, and who eats what. I don’t see the shops complaining and moreso, if it’s just coffee he wanted then he could always have one to go.
Chinseng Chua Alpuertini: quoting my good friend “You shut up you Phylum Porifera”!!!
Jett Tabuada: Triggered c acoe.
While the author of this rant might be put off by crowded coffee shops, most of these establishments encourage patrons to hang out. The international coffee shop chain Starbucks even states that their mission is: “to inspire and nurture the human spirit – one person, one cup, and one neighborhood at a time”.
